Take a bit of time to relax and discover what their small town is all about.walk around town on the heritage trail or close to town on the coolibah trail on the barcoo river. If you stay two nights, your third will be free. Pets under control are welcome. The grassy, shady van and camp sites lookout over the open mitchell grass plains where often kangaroo's or emus can be seen in the evenings. It is reasonably close to shops in one central queensland's friendliest towns, tambo. All are welcome to join the locals in a game of tennis, golf or bowls.tambo leaves a good drive to longreach and the rest of the central west's unique attractions, being on the matilda highway.
